These twenty years encompassed all phases of field service management. During this period I was responsible for directing the activities of twenty or more field service technicians for the Fischer & Porter Co. of Warminster, PA. The service area included all of New England as well as the Mid-Atlantic states. The service responsibilities included plant system start-ups, providing warranty repair service, and demand type repair calls.

This position as field service technician for the Fischer & Porter Co. required the on-site start-up, repair and maintenance of process control instrumentation systems at various water and wastewater treatment facilities throughout New England. All types of instruments and control systems were addressed.

    1970 – 1974

Instrument Technician / Keyes Fiber Corp.

At Keyes Fiber Corp., my duties were similar to those at Boise Cascade as I was part of a plant maintenance and repair crew responsible for the repair, troubleshooting and calibration of plant process control instrumentation systems.
